the struggle is real

I bought a domain name for this blog months ago, but I have been putting off this post for a while. Because every time I start blogging, I inevitably go through a phase where I'm like "that's dumb," delete all the posts and start from scratch. I guess it's hard to find your voice. I've gone through many a platform, one time I was 12 and I had my own domain name. Looking back, I'm pretty impressed by 12 year old me, though I wish she kept coding. But I blogged through my website, through Xanga (when I was in middle school and oh em gee so kewl), Livejournal, and a blogger account or too.

But NO MORE. I see people blog and I'm like, "I could do that." I think it's a pretty neat outlet. So to introduce myself, I'm a 24 year old consultant who grew up in the 'burbs and moved to the big city. I have everyday problems like spending money on things I don't need, running into that guy you used to hookup with on the subway, and trying to figure out the best way to passive aggressively goad my roommate into cleaning the apartment or emptying the dishwasher.

I am of the opinion that going to the gym and going on a date are maybe the worst until you actually get there, and then it's probably not that bad, it might even be okay. (But if you find this blog because I got murdered after going on a Hinge date, take my advice with a grain of salt)

I'll keep this short for now, but more to come folks.
